• 1 teaspoon of ginger powder;
• ½ cup (8 spoons) of turmeric;
• ½ teaspoon of grounded black pepper;
• 1 ½ cup (360 ml) of water, plus another ½ cup (120 ml);
• ½ teaspoon of cinnamon;
• ¼ cup (60 ml) of natural honey.
• ½ teaspoon of cardamom;
• ½ cup (120 ml) of coconut milk;
Add the turmeric to the water and mix it well. Next, heat it on low, stirring for 6-10 mins until it thickens. Add the rest of the water (120 ml), and mix it till you get a nice consistent mixture.
One by one add all of the other spices to the mixture. Keep the mixture on the fire, still at low heat, and keep stirring until all the ingredients are fully absorbed. Once this is done, take the pot off the fire and allow the paste to cool.
