5 Minutes a Day Workout to Reduce Arm Fat


Have you recently tried on a strapless dress and discovered that your arms look flabby and soft? Having excess arm fat may be one reason you feel self-conscious about showing off your upper body. You don’t have to be doomed to a lifetime of having to wear long sleeved shirts everywhere you’re going, though, and we’ll show you two simple exercises that you can use in conjunction with a proper diet, to get rid of that arm fat.

Your triceps are the part that is mostly affected by fat. You could call them the fat gatherers of the body and this can really get annoying. A table and a chair can help you tone your triceps. Try these simple exercises to lose fat fast from your arms.

1. Weight lifting

This is a time tested exercise that is sure to tone your arms effectively. You can use a 2 liter cold drink bottle for this exercise. You could also get a pair of dumbbells at home. Just make sure it is something heavy enough to give your arms a good workout.

Hold the item with both hands and lift it over your head with your arms straightened. This is your starting position. Lower the weight, taking it behind your back. Reach as low as you can. Bring the weight back up to your head. The slower you do this exercise, the more toned your arms get. You could also try practicing this exercise in front of the mirror to perfect your moves. You would be required to do 3 sets of 20 reps that is you would need to move the item 60 times above your had.

2. Chair dips

Chair dips are effective for toning your arms and back muscles as well. You will need a chair or bed for this exercise. The furniture should be elevated from the ground at about 2 ft. with your back facing the furniture, place your hands on it, keeping your arms and shoulders apart. Keeping your hands on the surface of the chair or table, take 3-4 steps forward, till your body is straight, with your feet forming a 90 degree angle with the floor. Next, proceed to perform the exercise by lowering your butt till your body is forming an L shape. At this point, you should feel a lot of tension in your triceps. Complete the move by bending your elbows till your arms are almost parallel with the floor (do not allow them to be fully parallel) and then extend your arms t starting position and repeat.Come back to your normal position. You need to do 3 sets of 20 reps, every day. This is undoubtedly one of the best exercises to do to lose weight in your arms fast!
